McDonald’s to begin delivery of chicken to Texas customers on Thursday

A new delivery service for customers in Texas is about to begin.

McDonald’s has agreed to a deal with Texas-based FedEx that will allow customers in the Lone Star State to get their chicken delivered by FedEx trucks to their homes or businesses, according to Bloomberg.

The new service is part of McDonald’s plan to expand to California and other states in the coming years.

FedEx said that the chicken would be delivered by a truck that will travel on FedEx’s ExpressBus service, which currently has 1,700 employees in the U.S.
