The worst case scenario for a toilet paper order is for it to be delivered to your door.
A recent survey by the Consumer Reports Institute found that nearly half of U.S. households don’t have the time to get their toilet paper delivered.
“If you’re just getting your toiletries on your doorstep or in the mail, it’s not an issue,” says Brian Schulkin, senior research analyst for consumer and business research at the Consumer Advocates Union.
He says people who have to wait weeks to get toilet paper might want to consider getting it delivered to the address they want it delivered from.
“It’s not just about a delivery company, it really is about the customer,” Schulkins says.
“They might have to drive, or they might have an appointment with the store, but they don’t want to wait for that.”
