Starbucks has announced a new online wine delivery option in India, offering free wine delivery to customers in cities where it operates, and offering free delivery to restaurants in its major cities.
The Starbucks delivery service will be available from Thursday in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad, the company said on its website on Monday.
The company plans to launch the service in more than 100 cities, including Delhi, Bengalurov, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderpur, Mumbai and Mumbai-NCR.
It said it was “very proud to be the first Indian coffee shop to offer a free delivery of wine to customers across India”.
The service is being offered on a trial basis to consumers and has no upfront cost.
The company is also planning to roll out free delivery in other major cities in the coming weeks, it said.
