A group of Walmart delivery workers have been working at a Walmart warehouse in New Jersey for more than a month, according to workers and a local union.
The workers, who have been contracted by the company to work in the warehouse, were paid $7.75 an hour for the work, according a statement from the union.
The workers were told they were working for Amazon, but when they showed up, the employees were told it was an Amazon delivery job, according the statement.
Amazon announced it was hiring 1,100 new delivery drivers in the United States in November.
The company said the jobs were part of its effort to boost its delivery workforce.
